About Our Practice

Dr. Martins currently practices in Castro Valley where she helps patients of all ages and walks of life. From newborns to retirees, business professionals to stay at home parents, athletes, etc. Dr. Martins assists them to achieve better health and wellness. In order for one's body to function properly there needs to be clear communication between your central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord) and the rest of your body. Dr. Martins uses a modern, gentle and effective chiropractic technique called Activator Methods which eliminates the need for any of the traditional cracking, popping or twisting that often makes patients uncomfortable. The use of this method allows Dr. Martins to detect and correct misalignments in the joints of the spine as well as the rest of the body. Any misalignment in the joints can cause interference in the body's communication. When there is a deficiency in this vital communication, the body is unable to function optimally and one's health and wellness can be impaired.
